Stir-Fried Pork with Holy Basil

This week has been quite busy because the little one is sick. The weather has been making a lot of kids ill. I bought some holy basil intending to make a clear tom yum soup to soothe the throat, but I didn't have much time, so I quickly stir-fried it before the leaves wilted.

Stir-Fried Pork with Shiso Leaves Stir-Fried Pork with Shiso Leaves
My mother used to make this dish a lot. She didn't add onions, but I made this new variation to add lots of veggies. The key is not to heat the shiso directly (residual heat is enough). If you are using pre-chopped pork, all you have to do is add it to the pan. This recipe is especially a must when sweet (or new) onions are in season.-Sweet onions cook pretty fast. When you've cooked the meat in Step 3, don't worry about removing it - it's also fine to sauté the sweet onions with the meat still in the pan! For 2 servings. Recipe by Totoro&mei cookpad.japan -

Stir-fried Chicken with Basil Stir-fried Chicken with Basil
I like Thai food and make it often for lunch.I usually make this dish with everyday ingredients.1: If you finely chop the garlic, add it at the start. If you use grated garlic, add it at the end after turning the heat off.2: Basil leaves turn black when heated, so add it at the end after turning the heat off.3: If you like fish sauce, I recommend seasoning with just nam pla and oyster sauce.
