Easy Katsudon with Sauce

You won't regret it! Katsudon is a favorite dish, and I experimented to find my perfect flavor. It's delicious enough that you don't need to go to a restaurant!
The story of this recipe
I wanted to create my favorite katsudon with my preferred taste. It's easy with this sauce.
Cooking Instructions

Mix the sauce, water, and sugar marked with ☆.

Thinly slice the onion and spread it on the bottom of a pot. Slice as thinly as possible to avoid toughness when cooked.

Slice the pork cutlet and place it on top of the onion (you can use store-bought cutlets).

Place green peas on top of the pork cutlet and add the sauce mixture. Turn on the heat. If using cilantro, add it at the end (chop the cilantro).

When the sauce starts to boil, beat the egg and pour it over the cutlet. Serve the rice.

Cover the pot and cook until the egg whites on the cutlet turn white. (Add cilantro at this point if using.)

Place the cooked mixture over the prepared rice (cover the bowl and let it steam for a bit for better flavor).
