  1. 250 gpork tenderloin
  2. Salt and pepper, to taste
  3. 1 tablespoonvegetable oil
  4. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  5. 1 tablespoonmirin
  6. 1/2 teaspoonsweet bean paste (tianmianjiang)
  7. 2 tablespoonssake
  8. 1 clovegarlic, grated

    Cut the pork into 3/4-inch thick slices and lightly pound with the tip of a knife. Season with salt and pepper.
