Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 6 cupsdiced turnip roots
  2. 1-1/4 poundBacon
  3. 1 stickbutter
  4. 1-1/4 teaspoonsalt or to taste
  5. 1/3 teaspoonground black pepper
  6. 1/2large onion diced
  7. 1-1/2 tablespoonschopped parsley

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add diced turnip to a pan with onions turn the heat to high

  2. 2

    Add bacon, salt, and pepper.

  3. 3

    Slice the butter into pats and add

  4. 4

    Stir well add parsley.

  5. 5

    Cook till the turnip till tender and browned, about 20-25 minutes.
