Something simple, savory and full of sauce to be served with rice or pasta if you wish. Feel free to add shredded carrots, baby corn or cashew nuts. I didn't have them so I simplified but you can give your own twist!

Ingredients

  1. slicesPork, cut into relatively thin
  2. [marinade]
  3. 1.5 tspsalt
  4. 1.5 tspblack pepper
  5. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  6. 1 tbspOyster sauce
  7. 4 clovesminced garlic
  8. Minced ginger
  9. 1 tbspCajun spices (optional)
  10. [for cooking]
  11. Salt, black pepper, sugar
  12. 1big onion or 2 medium sized ones
  13. 1.5 tspchicken seasoning
  14. 1.5 tbspsoy sauce
  15. 2 tbspOyster sauce
  16. 1.5 tbsphoisin sauce
  17. 2.5 tbspblack pepper sauce
  18. 1 tbspcooking caramel
  19. 1Bell pepper
  20. 1-2 cupswater
  21. 1 tbspcorn flour

Cooking Instructions

    Marinade pork for at least 20 mins. Overnight is best

    Fry pork pieces in a little bit of oil until cooked through, approximately 5 minutes. You can also air-fry the marinaded pork slices for 20 minutes at approximately 160 degrees. Give it a toss in between

    Remove pork and set aside. In a bowl combine sauces = soy sauce, chicken seasoning, Oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, black pepper sauce, cooking caramel, water. Mix well, have a taste and adjust accordingly with salt and sugar

    Heat wok with a little oil. Cook onion and bell pepper for approximately 1 minute

    Add in the combined sauces until heated through

  6. 6

    Add the cooked pork into the wok and give it a good stir

  7. 7

    Pour in corn flour + water mixture to thicken the sauce. Coat pork and other ingredients properly

  8. 8

    Serve!
