Battered Mars Bar

I saw these online as I was looking for something else and I had caramel bars in my fridge so I made them for the kids

I wanted to eat a sweet and rich brownie so I came up with this recipe.If you bake the brownie for too long it won't have a good texture so be careful not to overcook it. I used three 65 g bars of dark chocolate. I also used unsweetened cocoa. Recipe by Raby

I use a trail mix made up of peanuts, almonds, cashews, raisins and M&M candies (hence the colorful bars). For the batch photographed, I added an additional cup of chocolate and white chocolate chips.

This is something I tried making for Valentine's Day.In Step 7, if you try cooling it in the refrigerator then attempt to cut it, they'll fall to pieces. Super easy , and good!I made this for Valentine’s Day for the family, but you can use plain M&M’s or any holiday kind. This is good for any holiday or party, events, cookouts , bbq , pot lucks . I cheated and used a cookie bag mix , because I was being lazy , but I do make the cookie mix from the recipe when I have the time or the ingredients , both ways are great... and easy.

Found a link for kid energy bars with no nuts and made it my own. Obviously if your kid has nut allergies you would have to buy dried fruit separately.

This caramel shortbread bar has been around a long time. In trying to find its origin it seems most likely to have started in Scotland when milk, eggs and sugar were in short supply. So the caramel was made with a sweetend condensed milk. There are a few variations on the recipe but all have a shortbread crust, then a soft caramel layer topped with melted chocolate. My version adds toffee bits and a blend of chocolate topping. The darker you cook the caramel the firmer it will become. My bars have a soft consistancy. These bars are really simple to make and are delicious!

Well this recipe has been in my family for forever. It is similar to the better than sex cake, but we add a few twists.

Found this online when my daughter asked if I could make peanut butter bars they turned out great.

The fresh summer berries are so wonderful, we are able to pick them and always have to many. My favorite way to eat them is really just as is but to preserve the flavor in a crumble is a great way to enjoy them. These bars freeze great to have on hand and tuck in lunch boxes!
