Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1 1/2 cupSugar
  2. 1/2 cupVegetable oil
  3. 1 cupWater
  4. 1 cupPuréed pumpkin
  5. 2Eggs
  6. 1 2/3 cupFlour
  7. 1 tspBaking soda
  8. 1/4 tspBaking powder
  9. 3/4 tspSalt
  10. 1 tspCinnamon
  11. 1/2 cupChopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 360°F

    Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing well. Combine remaining ingredients except nuts and gradually stir into pumpkin mixture.

    Fold in nuts. Pour into greased bread pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes and then remove from pan to finish cooling.
