Red kidney beans and rice

Cooking Instructions

Rinse rice 3x and let soak in lukewarm water

Optional: cut up beef in tiny pieces and place in pressure cooker or regular pot with ~1 cup water. Add salt and pepper and cook at medium heat.

Cut onions in pieces using food processor

Fry cut onions in a pot with a little added canola oil. Cook at mid-high heat

Place handful of vermicelli in 2nd pot. Fry using just enough canola oil to soak them. Cook on medium heat

When vermicelli begin to turn brown, add the rice (after being drained) and 3 cups of water (or enough to cover rice). Cook at low heat until soft

Place beef in pot with fried onions

Drain 3 cans of red kidney beans from their liquid and add to 1st pot
- 9
Mix tomato paste with 1 cup water (or juice from beef pot) and add into pot. Cook at low heat for ~10mins

Add salt as needed
