When we make this, we go big! I make five times the regular recipe and freeze it in quart jars. Even then, it doesn't last long around here! Serving options: pour over burritos, mix with cheese for chip dip, add to scrambled eggs or omelettes. (One serving equals 6 oz.) Pastazia -

Denver Pork Green Chili Stew Denver Pork Green Chili Stew
My daughter lives near Denver, CO and they are famous for their Green Chili made from hatch peppers. Hatch peppers have a unique taste, but an extremely short season, but if you are lucky enough to find them you should try green chili. So I started out to make green chili but the batch of hatch peppers was really hot so I added potatoes to make a stew instead and it turned out great. The potatoes and sour cream helped lower the “heat” level. fenway -

Classic Chili Classic Chili
This is the best-tasting chili that I've ever had. It's nothing adventurous -- just classic and delicious! For fun, add some toppings to your bowl! Some of my favorites include:- green onions- cilantro- home-made mac & cheese- Fritos corn chips- Sour Cream & Cheddar Ruffles potato chips (but go light! Their flavor can be over-powering)- shredded cheddar cheese- and of course regular sour creamMaybe don't try all those toppings at once, but in smaller combinations, they can be delicious! :-)schultzisaiah
