Ingredients

  1. 1 pinchSalt
  2. 1 tspBaking Soda
  3. 1 tspVanilla
  4. 1Egg - Beaten
  5. 1 1/2 cupAll Purpose Flour
  6. 1 cupSugar (can easily reduce to 3/4 cup)
  7. 1/3 cupMelted Butter
  8. 3Ripe Bananas - Smashed
  9. 1 tspPoppySeeds

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    With a wooden spoon mix butter into smashed bananas in a large mixing bowl

    Mix in sugar, egg, poppyseeds and vanilla

  4. 4

    Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in

  5. 5

    Add the flour last

  6. 6

    Pour mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan

  7. 7

    Bake for 1 hour

  8. 8

    Cool on a rack, remove from the pan and slice to serve
