On most day, a slice is not difficult to find, but every once in a while, my go to spot sells out before I can reach it. Since school started today I decided to bake some banana bread for my kids so they can pack it for snack and lunch or eat it for breakfast!

This is based on the one found in the Fanny Farmer's Cook Book. I've tweaked it a bit to cut down on the amount of sugar used.
