Ingredients

  1. Parboiled rice
  2. FreshTomatoes and pepper
  3. Onions
  4. Smoked fish
  5. Dry fish
  6. Stock fish
  7. leafScent
  8. Spices
  9. Palm oil
  10. Salt
  11. Crayfish (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Parboil rice and set aside

  2. 2

    Wash and debone smoked fish and set aside

  3. 3

    Blend tomatoes and pepper,dice onion, soak stock fish in warm water and set

  4. 4

    With you cooking pot on fire, add palm oil and allow to heat.after heating add the sliced onions,stir fry,add the blended tomatoes and pepper puree and fry for some time

    Then add the smoked fish and stock fish,cray fish(optional),maggi Nd salt add the stock fish stock or some quantity of water and allow to boil

    Add the parboiled rice,and cover to cook on medium heat.always taste for salt and spice.when rice is tender, add the finger chopped scent leaf cover to cook.after 5_8mins,native jollof rice is ready.
