Ogbono soup with goat meat and dry fish

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupogbono (correct one from village)
  2. Cray fish 1 milk cup
  3. Black pepper (as desired)
  4. 1big ball onion
  5. Goat meat (already cooked) &
  6. Meat stock
  7. Dry fish
  8. Knorr cube (to taste)
  9. Salt
  10. Palm oil
  11. Bitter leaf (as desired)

Cooking Instructions

    Place your pot on heat with the goat meat and stock inside, add sliced onions. when it boils add washed dry fish, black pepper, salt and Maggi. Add moderate water

    Using a dry mill blender, blend the ogbono with some of the cry fish. Pour in a small pot and add palm oil as desired, place it on heat and keep stirring until all lumps dissolve and turn off heat.

    Add remaining crayfish (do not blend) and the dissolved ogbono to the pot of meat and dry fish, allow to cook for about 3mins.

    Wash bitter leaf and add to the soup. Check for salt and seasoning. Allow for 2 minutes and turn off heat. Serve with any swallow of choice. I used eba 😁
