Palak Paneer with Cornmeal Roti and Green Chilies

Ingredients

  1. 2 1/4 poundsspinach, chopped
  2. 1 poundpaneer
  3. 7-8 clovesgarlic, chopped
  4. 2onions, chopped
  5. 1-inch piece of ginger, chopped
  6. 4tomatoes, chopped
  7. 4-5green chilies
  8. 1 teaspoonsalt
  9. 1 teaspoonred chili powder
  10. 1 teaspooncoriander powder
  11. 1/2 teaspoongaram masala
  12. 1.1 poundscornmeal
  13. 1 teaspooncarom seeds
  14. 1 teaspoonsalt
  15. Lukewarm water for kneading

Cooking Instructions

    Chop and wash the spinach thoroughly.

    Put it in a pressure cooker and cook for two whistles.

    Then blend it in a mixer.

    Turn on the stove, place a pan, add butter, and sauté the garlic.

    Add onions, ginger, and green chilies, and sauté well, then add tomatoes and sauté thoroughly.

    Now add all the spices, add the blended spinach, sauté for 2 minutes, and add crumbled paneer. Cook for 5 minutes.

    Turn off the stove and add garam masala. Mix well.

    Serve in a bowl and top with whipped cream.
