  4. 1 pinchasafoetida (hing)

  6. Salt to taste

  9. 1 teaspooncoriander powder

  11. 1small onion, finely chopped
  12. 1large tomato
  13. 1small piece ginger

    First, clean and finely chop the spinach.

    Finely chop the onion as well.

    In a blender, blend the tomato, ginger, and green chilies into a paste.

    Add the chopped spinach and 1 cup water (about 240 ml) to a pressure cooker. Cook for 4 whistles, then blend or mash the spinach until smooth.

    Heat oil in a large skillet. Add asafoetida and finely chopped garlic, then add the tomato paste. Sauté for a few minutes, then add all the spices and sauté well.

    Once the spices are cooked, add the spinach and mix well. Add a little water and bring to a boil. Add the paneer and cook for 5 minutes. Your hot palak paneer is ready. Serve with roti.
