Ingredients

  1. 1 poundlima beans
  2. 1/4 poundsmoked pork
  3. To tastesalt
  4. 1/3 stickbutter
  5. 2 tablespoonsthinly sliced shallots
  6. 1-1/4 cupwater divided

Cooking Instructions

    Thinly slice the shallots. Heat the beans and smoked pork. Add 1/4 cup water. Cook covered till water is absorbed, and beans are slightly browned.

    Add water, butter, and shallots. Deglaze the pan with the remaining water. Cook 7-10 minutes. Serve I hope you enjoy!!
