Meatballs with Sweet & Sour Chili Sauce Meatballs with Sweet & Sour Chili Sauce
I used the meat mixture I used for a meatball recipe I uploaded earlier, combined with the chili sauce I used in.Make the meatballs in bulk and freeze them - they're handy to have in stock. If you add 1 teaspoon of katakuriko dissolved in 1 teaspoon of water, the chili sauce will become slightly thickened like ankake sauce. I used 2 teaspoons of starch dissolved 2 teaspoons of water to make the sauce thicker. It won't leak if you put it in a bento box. For 2 servings. Recipe by Sabumochi cookpad.japan -

Salmon Chanchan-yaki (Baked Salmon with Sweet Miso Sauce) Salmon Chanchan-yaki (Baked Salmon with Sweet Miso Sauce)

The sweet and salty miso sauce and vegetables really go well with rice. The vegetables will wilt in the oven, so pile up a lot of vegetables and it will be just right.Several kinds of mushrooms are in season during the fall, so a chanchan-yaki with lots of mushrooms is nice too. Done in 15 Minutes! Crunchy Pork and Eggplant with Sweet-Salty Sauce Done in 15 Minutes! Crunchy Pork and Eggplant with Sweet-Salty Sauce
I didn't have a lot of ingredients on hand, so I just pan fried what I had until crispy-crunchy and added some other things to make the dish look more voluminous (and to fool everyone). The crispy texture combined with the sauce is terrific! You can dust the pork and eggplant with the katakuriko potato starch flour through a tea strainer, toss in a bowl, or coat in a plastic bag. Just shake off any excess starch before frying (or it will absorb too much oil). For 2 to 3 servings. Recipe by HaradaKiTN cookpad.japan -

Rich Stir-fried Pork Belly and Nagaimo Yam with Oyster Sauce Rich Stir-fried Pork Belly and Nagaimo Yam with Oyster Sauce
I made this dish using the ingredients I happened to have at home at the time.I wanted to eat something rich and satisfying.-If you use a non-stick frying pan you don't need any oil since you'll have enough fat from the pork belly.-After adding the yamaimo yam don't cook too long or you will lose its texture.
