Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2 slicesuncooked reduced fat bacon, cut into small pieces
  2. 1 lbasparagus, trimmed
  3. 1shallot, sliced
  4. 1/4 tspsalt
  5. 1/8 tspblack pepper
  6. 1 1/2 tspwhite wine vinegar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook bacon, remove and set on paper towel to drain

  2. 2

    Add asparagus and shallot to skillet, cook over medium until shallots are golden

  3. 3

    Return bacon to pan, toss with salt and pepper, warm through

  4. 4

    Remove from heat toss with vinegar

All of the descriptions on my recipes include the new "Smartpoints" value on Weight Watchers for each serving. Some are duplicates from others that I found online, with modifications to reduce the number of points or remove/substitute ingredients my husband and/or I don't like.I'm still new to the kitchen and cooking for two (normally I make recipes for 4 and pack the leftovers for lunch the next day) and am looking to learn more.
