Ingredients

  1. 1 cupFresh grated coconut
  2. 1 cupJaggery
  3. as neededLittle Ghee for greasing the palms while making ladoos
  4. 1 tspCardamom powder
  5. 1 tbspChopped dry fruits (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    In a pan add jaggery, little water and boil it on low flame till the Jaggery melts.

    In another heavy bottomed pan heat 1tsp ghee. Then add grated coconut and saute it for 5 minutes on slow flame until the moisture evaporates.

    Now add Jaggery syrup, cardamom powder to the coconut. Cook till the moisture evaporates and u could see strings in the mixture. It can take 4 to 5 mins.

    Switch off the flame and let the mixture cool. U can add chopped dry fruits before switching off the flame.

    Grease your palms and take small portion of the mixture. Give round shape to make ladoos.

    Now the yummy coconut and jaggery laddu is ready to serve
