Ingredients

  1. 2Onion (medium/sliced)
  2. 2Tomato (medium/chopped)
  3. 1 tbspGinger garlic paste
  4. 4-5Green chillies (chopped)
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  7. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  8. 1 tspRed crushed chilli flakes
  9. 1/2 tspCoriander powder
  10. 1/2 tspCumin powder
  11. 1/2 cupOil
  12. 1/2 kgChicken
  13. 1 1/2 kgSpinach

Cooking Instructions

    In a pot heat the oil, add onion and fry until becomes crispy. Add ginger garlic paste, saute well.

    Add all spices and cook for good 5-7 minutes. Then add chicken and cook until color changes.

    Add in chopped tomato and green chillies. Cover with lid and cook well until chicken is 3/4 done.

    In a separate pot add spinach and cook for 15 minutes. When spinach releases water and becomes soft, grind it slightly.

    Add this ground spinach to chicken pot and cover the pot. Cook until chicken is tender completely and oil separates. Spinach chicken is ready.
