Mixed Fruit Bread

To put us in the festive mood for this holiday season. I have decided to kick off my holiday treats with mix fruit bread. Which is fluffy and flavorful. Enjoy

Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 3 cupsflour
  2. Quarter teaspoon of salt
  3. 1 tablespoonyeast
  4. 1egg
  5. Halfcup of lukewarm milk
  6. I cup of margarine
  7. 1/2 cupSugar
  8. 11/2 cupmixed fruits

Cooking Instructions

    Pour lukewarm milk, 1 egg, yeast, sugar, salt and mix all ingredients together.

    Add flour to the mixture and fold the flour into the mixture. Form into dough and leave to rest for 20 minutes.

    After 20 minutes flatten dough and apply margarine. Fold the dough with the margarine and knead until you get a soft, elastic dough.

    Place dough into a bowl and leave to rise for 1 hour. Remove excess air, spread dough and pour the mixed fruits into the dough and fold dough

    Roll dough into a ball and divide into 3 parts. Flatten each dough, apply more mixed fruit and fold into a cylindrical shape.

    Line the three cylindrical dough side by side and begin plating together. Fold the plaited dough and place in an already greased pan.

    Cover the pan and leave to rise for an hour after which coat the dough with a mixture of egg and milk before putting it into an already preheated oven to bake for 20 minutes.

    After which your bread is ready. Note to get excellent results preheat your oven 10 minutes.
