Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 250 gramsPaneer cubed
  2. 1 tbsp Fennel powder
  3. 1 tspFennel for tempering
  4. 4 Cloves
  5. 1 inchCinnamon
  6. 4Pepper
  7. 1Bay leaf
  8. 2Slit green chillies
  9. 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  10. 1 cupMilk
  11. 1/2 cupMalai
  12. As per tasteSalt
  13. 1 tspSugar
  14. 1 pinchSaffron
  15. 1 pinchRed chilli powder
  16. As requiredOil to deep fry paneer
  17. 1 tspCoriander powder
  18. A sprigCurry leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a kadhai. Fry the paneer cubes till golden. Rest aside. Remove excess oil from the kadhai. Add fennel and bay leaf. Add whole garam masalas and chillies. Add curry leaves.

    Dissolve red chilli powder and fennel powder and salt and coriander powder in some water. Add to the kadhai. Cook till water evaporates.

    Add the milk and malai too. Add sugar. Simmer for a few minutes. Add the paneer and cook for more 5 minutes.

    Serve with rice
