Ingredients

  1. 2 cuptoor daal
  2. 1 cupall purpose flour
  3. 1 tablespoonsalt
  4. 1 tablespoonturmeric
  5. 1big onion chopped
  6. 2tomatoes chopped
  7. 1green chili chopped
  8. Halfcup estimated peanuts soaked
  9. 1 tablespoonginger garlic grated
  10. 1medium piece jaggery
  11. 1 tablespoonkitchen king
  12. 1/2 tablespoonred chilli powder
  13. Pinchblack pepper powder
  14. 1 tablespooncumin seeds
  15. 1 tablespooncumin powder
  16. 1 tablespoonblack mustard seeds
  17. PinchASAFETIDA
  18. 1 tablespoonajwain or carom seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the lentil for 30 minutes and have 4 whistles properly by adding double estimated water and peanut

    Add salt and turmeric when turn the gas to boil the lentil

  3. 3

    Now roast them and add tomatoes with all the left spices together

  4. 4

    Now simmer the tadka for 10 minutes.

    Take all purpose flour and mix carom seeds,pinch of salt,black pepper,turmeric and oil

  6. 6

    Now mix with the help of water and make a hard dough

  7. 7

    Rest for 15 minutes and after that make flat thin layer and cut the diamond shape small pieces

  8. 8

    Now boil the lentil and whisk openly.add these diamond shaped pieces and jaggery piece.boil openly for 10 to 15 minutes

    Delicious daal dhokli is ready
