Ingredients

  1. 250 gmspaneer cubes
  2. 4 tbspoil
  3. 1 tbspkasuri methi
  4. 1big onion cut in cubes
  5. 2tomatoes
  6. 2green chillies
  7. 2 clovesgarlic
  8. 1 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  9. 1 tbsptomato ketchup
  10. 1 tsppepper
  11. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  12. 1 tspgaram masala
  13. 1 tspturmeric powder
  14. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  15. to tasteSalt
  16. 1 tbspcashew almond paste
  17. 1 tbspfresh cream

Cooking Instructions

    Take paneer cubes and fry in oil till golden in colour. Drain and keep aside.

    In the same oil add butter and Kasuri methi.

    Fry for 2 seconds and add onion cut in cubes and fry for 2 minutes.

    Drain and keep in a plate.

  5. 5

    Make paste from tomatoes, green chillies, garlic cloves, tomato ketchup and pepper.

    In the remaining oil add cumin seeds.

  7. 7

    Add tomato paste, garam masala powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt.

    Mix all masalas well and add little water.

    Cook for 2 minutes and add cashew almond paste.

    Add fried paneer pieces and bring it to boil.

  11. 11

    When gravy starts thicken add fried onions and fresh cream.

    Remove from fire and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and grated paneer.

    Kashmiri paneer masala is ready.

    Serve hot with Kashmiri pulao or naan.
