Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupSooji (Semolina)
  2. 1 cupAtta /Whole Wheat Flour
  3. 1/2 cupjaggery
  4. 1/4 cupGhee
  5. 2 cupsWater
  6. 1/4 cupChopped dry fruits
  7. 1/2 tspCardamom powder
  8. 1 pinchsalt

    At first Put water and jaggery in a saucepan and boil till jaggery dissolve.Switch off the flame and keep it aside.
    Heat ghee in a deep non-stick kadai. Roast atta or whole wheat flour and sooji or semolina till the colour turns dark on medium low flame for 5 – 10 minutes. Now add boiled water into roasted atta sooji mixture. Mix it quickly and make sure there are no lumps

    Now Heat ghee in a kadai. Roast atta and sooji or semolina till the colour turns dark on medium low flame.
    Now add boiled water into roasted atta sooji mixture. Mix it quickly and make sure there are no lumps.

    Now Cook on low flame, stirring continuously. Keep on stirring until the whole mixture starts thickening and starts to leave the edge of the kadai.

    Add cardamom powder, salt, ghee and mix well. Garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve hot.
