First roast urad dhal with two drops of gingelly oil keep it on a plate to cool in the same pan roast the fried gram dhal with two drop of gingelly oil then same with chanadhal and cool on a plate.. fry till golden brown.

Now add TIL and sauté it without oil till the TIL starts to burst. Now cool on a plate.

With two drops of oil roast the red chilli.Fry the tamarind and add over the chilli.

Now add hing and crystal salt. Cool all ingredients completely and then grind it into a fine powder. Serve with idli or dosa and do add oil to the podi while serving.
