Steam ponmo with little water,add little salt before cooking on medium heat,remove from heat when soft, drain in a sieve, roast yam on a preheated grill,flip side after every 5mins till all sides are done,set aside.

Heat palm oil in a sauce pan,add onions, stir fry in medium heat,add pepper,tomatoes, onga stew,stir fry for 2mins, taste to adjust with salt,add ponmo,stir,cook for 1min,turn off heat,plate roasted yam,sprinkle salt,add sauce and garnish with sliced utazi leaves and onions,enjoy
