Prepare your ingredients.

Gently bruise the mint leaves and steams by rubbing them between your hands and add it to the pot of water. Adding salt enhances the sweetness as well as subtly enhancing the clove flavor. Add the sugar as well. You can adjust the sugar (add or reduce)

If you can, pour the tea into your cup from an arms length distance to create a foam at the top. You can garnish with mint leaves. Enjoy your tea with cookies.
