Palak paneer khichdi
Steps

Wash daal and rice at least three times and drain all the water.

In a pressure cooker add dal and rice along with 5 cups of water, salt, turmeric powder and cook up to three whistles.

Meanwhile in a grinder jar add palak and grind it into a fine paste.

Now after three whistles keep aside the cooker and let the pressure release.

In a pan add ghee and mustard seeds to splutter.

Add cloves, cardamom, dry chillies, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 mins.

Now add onions and tomatoes cook for 5 minutes then add palak puree and cook again for 2 minutes and add paneer pieces.

Finally add cooked khichdi into it and mix well.

Cook with a lid for 5 minutes.

Serve hot with dollop of ghee.
