Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cupwesson oil
  2. 3eggs
  3. 2 1/4 cupssugar
  4. 2 tspvanilla
  5. 3 cupsflour
  6. 1 tspbaking soda
  7. 1 tspsalt
  8. 2 cupspecans
  9. 3 cupsfresh apples, dices
  10. 1/2 cupcoconut
  11. Glaze:
  12. 1 cupbrown sugar
  13. 1/4 cupmilk
  14. 1 stickbutter

Cooking Instructions

    Mix together oil, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. In a separate bowl sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Combine the two mixtures.

    Fold in pecans, diced apples and coconut.

    In a greased pan, bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

    Bring brown sugar, milk, and butter to boil for 2 minutes. Pour over hot cake.

Am I able to make this without the coconut and possibly sun walnuts for pecans?
