When I think about my childhood memory, I think about a yummy and cheap sausage bun! It tastes super good with easy baking technique!
Cooking Instructions

Add 100ml warm water and yeast powder into a bowl, let the yeast does its job. Rest it for at least 10 mins

Add bread flour, sugar, mixed water into a bowl. Gently mix it well. Keep mixing it and add the other 40ml warm water separately (divided into 3 times) Add extra flour to it if the dough is too wet and super sticky to your hand.

After kneading the dough into smooth and round in shape, put the veggie oil in and knead it over and over again till she dough smooth and round again. Cover the bowl with a plastic wipe or wet towel for keeping the moisture. Start the first resting time for at least 45 mins.

After 45 mins resting time, the dough gets double sized. Put some flour on the table evenly. Start kneading it with you head again for removing excessive in it. Knead for at least 5 mins. And knead it into round shape and cut it into 8 pieces.

Unfreeze and dry your sausage with kitchen paper. Roll each dough into long shape. Place a sausage and start rolling it.

After rolling all the dough, get your oven ready. Heat up with 200degree for 10 mins. Let the dough rest again (Up to 45mins again) *Tips: the more resting time, the more fluffy will be*

While the dough are resting again, melt the extra unsalted butter and prepare for wiping on the top of the dough. (*Some people like to use raw egg to wipe the top of the bread, it is also ok!)

When all the stuff ready, get the sausage bun into the oven. Bake it with 200-220 degrees for 18mins (Depends on your oven model) You can also put more unsalted butter while baking it. *Tips: Be aware of the oven temperature, it is all by your experience! Do not overheat the bun, otherwise, it will break the bun and become dry!
