Ingredients

  1. chicken
  2. cubeschicken blood
  3. leavesgalangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime
  4. chili peppers, lightly crushed and sliced diagonally
  5. tomatoes
  6. cabbage
  7. oyster mushrooms
  8. cilantro and green onions
  9. fried dried chili peppers
  10. tamarind

Cooking Instructions

    Bring water to a boil. Add galangal, lemongrass, and a pinch of salt, plus chicken bouillon (such as Knorr).

    Add the chicken and cook until done. Then add mushrooms, cabbage, and tomatoes at the same time.

    Once boiling again, add coconut milk and chicken blood cubes. Sprinkle in kaffir lime leaves and fresh chili peppers.

    Season with tamarind paste, lime juice, MSG (optional), salt, and sugar.
