Ingredients

  • 2medium sized boiled potatoes
  • 2carrots diced
  • 1 cuppeas
  • 1/4 cupcapsicum
  • 5-6beans chopped
  • 1onion
  • 2-3 podsgarlic
  • 1” Ginger
  • 2tomatoes diced
  • 2Green chilies
  • 2-3 tbspcoriander leaves
  • as neededPaav bhaji masala
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tbspcoriander powder
  • 1lemon juice
  • 5 tbspbutter
  • 2 tbsprice flour
  • 3 tbspbread crumbs
  • 1papad
  • 1onion cut in rings

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a pan and add butter
    When it melts add ginger- garlic and sauté

  2. 2

    When it’s slightly sautéed add chopped onions and stir
    Sauté till they are slightly brown and in all the dry Masalas and stir

  3. 3

    Add chopped tomatoes and green chilli if you like
    Sauté and let the tomatoes cook.

  4. 4

    Add all the vegetables (finely chopped) and mash well with a masher. (Except boiled potato

  5. 5

    Add 1 cup water and close the lid
    Let the raw vegetables cook
    This will take just 5-7 minutes.

  6. 6

    Now remove the lid and add boiled potatoes and mix everything well
    Cover and cook for some more time so that everything gets well incorporated

    Remove the lid and mix well.

    Now let it cool completely

  7. 7

    For making kababs
    Add rice flour and bread crumbs to it

    Mix well and shape them up.

  8. 8

    Now put little oil on a hot griddle pan and shallow fry the kababs on medium flame till done from both the sides

  9. 9

    Roast a papad for garnishing

    Garnish the kababs with roasted pakad, onion slices and coriandEr leaves.
    Serve with any chutney of your choice
