Ingredients

  • For dough
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1 cupflour
  • Halfcup yogurt
  • 1 cupsemolina
  • 2 tspbaking powder
  • 2 tspvanilla powder
  • Halfcup of shredded coconut
  • Halfcup oil
  • 3egg
  • For Syrup
  • 1 cupsugar
  • Halfcup water
  • Halftsp of lemon juice
  • Halftsp of rose water

Steps

    Preheat the oven at 180 degree for 30 minutes

  2. 2

    First,mix all the dry ingredients.

  3. 3

    Then beat the egg very well...

  4. 4

    Now add yogurt and oil in the eggs...and beat well

  5. 5

    Now add all the dry ingredients in the wet mixture...

  6. 6

    Put it in the baking tray...and draw the lines on it with knife...like pieces

  7. 7

    Put the almond (or whatever you like) on the top of each piece...

  8. 8

    Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 25 to 30 minutes..

  9. 9

    After baking the basbousa cut it into pieces and put the syrup on it...after that leave it for about 20 minutes to absorb the syrup very well...

  10. 10

    Enjoy it with the tea or after lunch and dinner...❤❤
