  1. 2 cupsBesan (gram flour)
  2. 2onions chopped
  3. 2tomatoes chopped
  4. 2-3green chilli chopped
  5. 1 tbspginger paste
  6. Handfulcoriander leaves chopped
  7. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1 tspcumin seeds
  9. 1 tspajwain(caron seeds)
  10. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  11. 1 tspsalt (as per taste)
  12. as required Water
  13. as required Oil

Cooking Instructions

    In a mixing bowl add besan and only 1/2 cup water.whisk it and make lump free batter. Now add all the ingredients except oil. Mix it very well.Add water if needed to maintain the thick flowing consistency. Keep a side for 10 minutes.

    Heat a nonstick pan grease it with little oil. Then take a ladle full of the batter and pour on the pan,spread the batter.cook it on low flame.

    When chilla gets light brown flip it and cook the other side.

    When both the sides turn brown and crispy, take it out in a plate.Your besan chilla is ready.Enjoy it with any chutney/sauce.
