Sticky pork ribs

Simple recipe that allows room to improvise, like adding garlic or five spice powder. I made it as in the recipe and served it with stir fried bok choy and rice with sauteed leeks.

Steps
- 1
Mix together the water, soy sauce, honey, and salt.
- 2
In a wok or large sauce pan, heat the oil and brown the ribs. I cut the ribs into 1 1/2" pieces and brown them in batches to avoid crowding.
- 3
Add the liquid mix to the ribs and bring to boil over high heat.
- 4
Lower the heat to medium-high and cook until the liquid reduces and becomes thick and caramelized. The sauce comes together at the very end (after thirty minutes or so) so keep an eye on it because it can quickly burn once it thickens.
