Ingredients

300 gbeef tenderloin or sirloin, cut in to bite sizes

Spices to be ground for marinade :
4shallots
2garlic cloves
1 tspkaempferia galanga powder
1tumb size fresh ginger
2 tbspcoriander seeds
2 tspbrown sugar
4 tbspsweet soy sauce
3 tbsptamarind paste
to tasteSalt

Steps

Marinate the beef cubes with the marinade paste for at 1 hour and store them in the fridge. But I prefer to do it over night.

Thread the beef cubes into bamboo skewers.

Grill the beef to your preference.

Serve with warm steamed rice and sambal.
