Makki Ki kees is a quick recipe which is very delicious. It can be prepared as a snack or a light meal for lunch or dinner. In Gujarati it is called Makai no chevdo. It is a delight to eat when it is combined with sev, kurmure or any dry chivda.

Makki Ki kees is a quick recipe which is very delicious. It can be prepared as a snack or a light meal for lunch or dinner. In Gujarati it is called Makai no chevdo. It is a delight to eat when it is combined with sev, kurmure or any dry chivda.

Take grated corn and corn kernels in a bowl. Add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste to it. Add turmeric powder, salt, sesame seed and coriander leaves to it and mix everything well.

Heat oil in a pot. Add mustard seeds and let it crackle. Add cumin seeds and curry leaves to it. Now add corn mixture to it and mix everything well. Add 1 cup of water and mix everything. Now cover the pot and cook for 10 to 15 minutes stirring often so that it doesn't stick to the bottom.

Serve hot with sev and lemon juice.
