Soak dal for one hour... Later Boil it in pressure cooker by adding turmeric powder hing salt and 2 ups water... As daal gets cooked smashed it..

In kadai add oil.. Than add mustard seeds as it splitters than add.. Onions ginger green chillies saute untill soft... Now add all spices than add tomato puree. Cook for 5 minutes...

Now add sambhar masala let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes

Now as this tadka is ready pour it into daal... Tham add few curry leaves and let it boil for 5 to 7minutes..add salt if needed... Now in small kadai add oil few mustard seeds pinch red chilli powder and whole red chillies..

Heat it... Now add this over cooked daal... Cover it with lid let it stay in slow flame for 2 minutes

As sambhar is ready serve hot and enjoy
