Verry Quick gajar halwa

K's @cook_21707893

In theme of the Global Food Tour Indian I and Bangladesh Week

I like to have the milk left, but if you want them evaporated you can wait longer.

Used condensed milk instead of milk and using what I have currently. Definitely not traditional, very quick though.

Utensils :grater, pan, wooden spoon

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat 1 tablespoon of butter

  2. 2

    Add grated carrots

  3. 3

    Add condensed milk

  4. 4

Cover and stir once in a while not to let them burn, add another tablespoon of butter.

  5. 5

Wait until the milk evaporates, about 15 minutes and carrots are soft, can be until no liquid at all or still have some like I prefer.

  6. 6

Garnish with crushed nuts. I like them cold so put in the fridge after cooling outside for about 30-60 minutes.

No-recipe, 1-hour or less batch cooker for 1. I usually buy grocery monthly, so recipes are usually pantry staples + dry ingredients. I also like microwave oven! Mostly SEA-inspired cooking. I apparently do a lot of fusions.
