Take mini idli mould stand, oil the moulds and pour spoonful of batter into each mould. Steam in cooker for 8-10 minutes. Turn off heat. Take out the mould. Allow to cool for 5 minutes and then scoop out the idlis out of mould.

In a pan, heat sesame oil, temper mustard seeds and urad dal. The dal should turn slightly brown

Add curry leaves, sizzle for few seconds. Aadd chilli powder or gunpowder masala

Add mini idlis. Mix well. Add coriander leaves and a dash of lemon juice.

Serve as snack.
