Ingredients

15 minutes
2 servings
  • 15-16papdi
  • 1medium sized boiled,peeled and cut potato
  • 1big cup whisked curd/yoghurt/dahi
  • 8 tsptamarind chutney
  • 8 tspgreen chutney
  • 1sprinkle of salt
  • 1 tspchaat masala
  • 1 tspcumin powder
  • 1 tspchilli or black pepper powder
  • 2 tbspfinely chopped coriander for garnish
  • 2 tbspfine sev for garnish
  • 1 cupfresh pomegranate seeds
  • 4-5besan vadas, soaked in water for few seconds and squeezed.(optional)

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    To make one plate papdi chaat, take 7-8 papdi, dip each papdi in whisked curd and arrange on plate.

  2. 2

    For besan vada, add 2 tbsp water to 2 tbsp besan. Add 1/2 tsp salt and pinch of baking soda. Mmix and add dollops of batter to hot oil and fry until golden.

  3. 3

    Top it with 1/2 the potatoes, chick peas, vada, remaining curd, 2 tsp imli chutney followed by 2 tsp green chutney.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle little salt, chaat masala, cumin powder, chilli/pepper powder.

  5. 5

    Repeat above steps for each plate.

  6. 6

    Garnish with coriander and sev and pomegranate.

  7. 7

    Serve immediately.
