I use homegrown apples to make a delicious apple jam that will last for months with an easy, no-pectin recipe from.
Steps

Washed the apples, dry and peel them.remove the peel and cut into the small pieces.
Put the apple pieces in a non-stick pan pour the water in a pan then cover with lid and boil. Once it comes to boil about 10-20 min or till the apple pieces turn soft and mushy. - 2
Mash them properly with a wooden spoon or use potato masher.
Add the sugar Allow jam to cook, if required you can still mash the apples. - 3
Add lemon juice and cinmon Keep stirring to prevent jam from sticking to the pan base to check if the jam is cooked, pour a little bit of jam on a plate, it has to fall together, water should not fall separately. Turn off the heat.

After the Apple Jam cool completely.
Fill cold apple jam in a sterilized glass jar and store.
keep in a refrigerator up to 6 months.
