Soak Urad Dal overnight in water. Next morning, take out the Dal. Put it in blender. Add chilli and ginger slice. Make paste.

Take out the paste in a bowl. Add rice flour. Add salt and sugar to taste. Whisk everthing.

Pour oil in pan. Take a lump of Dal paste in Palm. Make bada. Put a hole in between.

Put it in oil for frying. Fry them golden. Take out from the oil after frying.

Now for the coconut chutney, put the coconut slices in a blender. Add salt and Gur to taste. Add 2 tsp Curd. Make paste.

Take it out in a bowl.

Take mustard oil in a bowl/ladle. Temper the oil with 1 tsp mustard seed and dry red Chilli. As seeds splatter, pour it over the chutney. Coconut Chutney is ready.
