Steak is safe bet when trying to please a crowd. These open steak sandwich appetizers are similar to a traditional Spanish tapa and are a great dish to serve at a party!

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 lbIberian sirloin
  2. 4-6 slicestoasted bread
  3. to tastecaramelized onions
  4. to tastecheese (Manchego works best)
  5. to taste (equal parts):
  6. Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain
  7. Mustard
  8. Honey

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare an emulsion of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain, mustard and honey, and brush it all over the meat.

    Cook in a frying pan and, when you turn it over, add a little more Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain to make it even more crispy, golden and delicious.

    Cut the steak into thick slices and complete your open toasted sandwich by topping with caramelised onions and some hunks of cheese. Just the mere smell of this dish will have your neighbours consumed with envy. Healthy envy, obviously. Because this dish, apart from being delicious, is 100% healthy.
