Ingredients

  1. 2 cupbajri flour
  2. 1.5 cupwheat flour
  3. 2 tbspminced garlic
  4. 1.5 tbspgreen chilli paste
  5. 1 bunchmethi leaves
  6. 2 tbspchopped cilantro
  7. 1 tbspminced ginger
  8. 1 tbspKashmiri chilli powder
  9. 1 tspdhanajeeru powder
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. 3 tbspsour yogurt
  12. 1 tbspsugar / 1.5 tbsp jaggery (use more or less as per your taste)
  13. 1 tspcarom seeds (hand rubbed)
  14. 1.5 tspsesame seeds
  15. 1/2 tspturmeric
  16. Water as required
  17. 5 tbspOil

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl mix methi leaves, cilantro, ginger garlic and chilli along with all the spices, sugar / jaggery, sesame seeds and carrom seeds. Add 4 tbsp of oil

    Now add both flours to the mix. Start binding everything together

  3. 3

    Add yogurt and mix in the dough. Use water in small batches to form the dough. Make a sof dough similar to that of Roti.

    Heat the tawa on flame. Take a spoon size ball of dough and Start rolling the dhebra. Shallow fry dhebra with oil or ghee until nicely cooked from both sides. Enjoy hot dhebra alone or with accompaniments of your choice.
