Suzy's Zoo Boof Cookies

I love Suzy's Zoo, so I made these cookies
It's so much fun to see Boof multiplying.
You can alter the color of the facial features and body by the amount of cocoa powder that you add. Give the bear lots of different facial expressions. Recipe by Chokore-to

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preparation Sift the cake flour. Soften the butter by heating it in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
- 2
Cream the butter, then add the sugar and mix together.
- 3
Beat the egg, and add it to the butter and sugar. Once fully combined, add the cake flour and knead with your hands until the flour is absorbed.
- 4
Divide the finished dough into four. Colour the body and face portions with cocoa powder (make the face portion darker), a add red food colouring to the heart and cheek portion.
- 5
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap, and allow them to rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- 6
Roll the dough 3-5 mm thick, and make the parts of each bear. This is how it looks when all of the parts of a bear are laid out . I used a bear-shape cookie cutter from the dollar store and squeezed it a little bit to make the shape of the head.
- 7
First make Boof's body, then stick on the head, arms and legs.
- 8
Next, stick on the face, ears and stomach area.
- 9
Lastly, stick on the facial features, the cheeks and the heart on the stomach. Draw a seam on with a utensil such as a knife.
- 10
Bake in an oven preheated to 170°C for about 10 - 13 minutes.
- 11
And they are complete I think that there may be slight differences between ovens, so please adjust the baking time accordingly.
- 12
Note: When dividing the dough, aim to have the light brown dough as the biggest portion, followed by the white dough. The remaining dough should be divided so that the pink dough is roughly the same size or a little bit bigger than the dark brown dough.

You can make the Witzy version in, so if you like, please give it a try.

I love Suzy's Zoo characters, so I decided to try making cookies of them! It's so comforting to look at Witzy! To make the orange dough for the mouth and feet, mix together the red and yellow food coloring! You just need a small amount of food coloring to color the dough, so just add a little at a time so you don't put in too much. You can do many variations, so please make your own Witzy! Kabocha Squash Cookies Kabocha Squash Cookies
I love kabocha squash so I've always wanted to make kabocha squash cookies. I referred to a recipe for snowball cookies that was printed on a packet of powdered sugar. I increased the flour so that the cookies wouldn't fall apart, reduced the sugar to bring out the kabocha squash flavor, and reduced the butter and so forth.✿The kabocha squash reduces in volume a little when it's pureed, so have more ready than you think you'll need, and measure after it's pureed. You can boil or steam it instead of microwaving it. If you microwave it, pour a little water over so the surface won't get hard. ✿You can use margarine, or a 1:1 mix of butter or margarine and shortening, instead of the butter. ✿The reason why I give the cookies a second baking is that by giving them a hard finish, you get more kabocha squash flavor when you crunch on them.
