Dry roast the yellow moong dal in a kadai & then wash it properly.

Now in the same kadai pour 2 tsp mustard oil & heat it.Then add cumin seeds, bay leaf, 2 dry red chilli.

Let it splutter.Then add ginger paste, cumin powder & mix well.

Then add the moong dal & stir well.Add the chopped bottle gourd,salt, sugar, turmeric powder,cover it with a lid in low flame.

Stir it occasionally till the water of the bottle gourd dries up & veggies cooked properly.

Mix it gently & turn off the heat.Add the ghee & chopped coriander leaves.

Serve this healthy,delicious dish with hot steam rice.
