Steps
- 1
Add Sugar and Yeast to the lukewarm water. Stir it well and allow it to prove. Cover and wait for 5 minutes.
- 2
After it's all frothy and well proved with a distinct smell, it means that it is all ready and perfect. Take the first 3 ingredients mentioned in a bowl. Add this Yeast mix to it.
- 3
Mix well and knead into a sticky dough using little Oil if needed. Do not knead much. Just combine to a nice dough. Smear it with some Oil on top and cover. Set aside for an hour. After done, it doubles up in volume.
- 4
Divide this dough into equal sized balls. Roll into oblong shaped like I did or to a round one. Brush with little water on top. Sprinkle Sesame and Black Seeds both. Heat a tawa. Place this on the tawa with the top facing you. Sprinkle some water from the sides and cover immediately.
- 5
Let it cook on a low heat until done on one side. Flip over and cook on the other side too. Apply Butter or Ghee as required. Serve them piping hot.
