Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F.
Prepare the batter by whisking together the flour, eggs, salt, milk and butter.

Place a knob of butter in a cast-iron skillet or pizza pan and place in the hot oven for 1 minute.

Spread the butter evenly on the base of the pan. Add enough batter to the pan to give a depth of 2-3 mm.

Add on the toppings.
Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the pancake is golden brown.

#Tips
You can choose whatever topping you like for these pancakes – savoury or sweet. The sweet pancakes go particularly well with ice-cream.
